- Leading and managing development projects in the field of lidar applications, from the concept phase through to series production
- Creating and maintaining project plans, milestones, and budgets
- Coordinating interdisciplinary teams (systems, hardware, software, testing, production)
- Ensuring that technical and schedule objectives are met
- Reporting to management and stakeholders, including risk and change management
- Supporting customer coordination and technical reviews
- Manage technical suppliers through NPI, qualification, and PPAP milestones
- Responsibility for compliance with quality and automotive standards (e.g., ASPICE, ISO 26262, IATF 16949)

Your mission
Your profile
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, physics, mechatronics, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of experience in technical project management, ideally in the sensor or (automotive) industry
- Knowledge of development processes (Agile processes, V-Model, Stage-Gate, APQP, or ASPICE)
- Strong social and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust, motivate, and unite a team
- An understanding of systems engineering, electronics development, or optical systems is a plus
- A structured and solution-oriented approach to work, combined with strong communication skills
- Familiarity with laser physics, optics, or silicon photonics is a plus.
- Very good written and spoken German and English
